Tottenham fans go wild for 'best in the league' third kit which has left one Arsenal supporter jealous

Aug 23, 2023

Tottenham fans have given their seal of approval to the club's new third kit after first images of the shirt were released on Tuesday.

Spurs have opted for what appears to be a dark pink and beige kit and despite the risky colour scheme, supporters are loving it.

The shirt adopts a black trim around the sleeves with the Nike logo, club badge and sponsor also in black.

There are no images of the shorts and socks as of yet, but fans will not have to wait long to see Spurs don the new kit in its entirety after the club confirmed they will wear it for the first time during Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup clash at Fulham.

Fans can now pre-order the kit ahead of its launch on Friday, September 1 and if social media reaction is anything to go by, Spurs could be set for a windfall.

And it's not just Tottenham fans that have been left impressed by the new design, as one Arsenal supporter put aside the bitter rivalry between the clubs to give a very honest opinion on it.

“Hate to admit it, but Tottenham kits this season are absolute class,” the Gunners fan tweeted.

Spurs supporters concurred in their droves and took to X to heap praise on the jersey ahead of Friday's release.

One fan wrote: “Best kit in the league.”

Another added: “The best kit I’ve seen in the Premier League this season."

A third wrote: “Love it, the vibes are immaculate right now.”

A fourth fan tweeted; “Looks stunning! Can't wait to see Spurs rock the new third kit tonight. Exciting times ahead!"

Though not all fans were happy with the strip, as one user wrote: "Talk about running out of ideas."

“Other Nike clubs get such cool third kits and ours are typically bad,” another replied.

The euphoria around the new kit is another step in the right direction for Tottenham who have made a solid start to the season.

The club was surrounded by doom and gloom just two weeks ago when Harry Kane confirmed his switch to Bayern Munich, but seven points for their opening three games has lifted the cloud over north London.

Much of that has been down to a feel- good factor brought in by new boss Ange Postecoglou who has led his side to back-to-back victories over Manchester United and Bournemouth in the past week.
