Milltown duck race winners
The final event of the Milltown Festival was a duck race. Participants purchased numbered rubber ducks which were released into the Blue River Sunday afternoon and were carried by the current to the finish line.
A total of 638 ducks were purchased.
The winner of the top prize, $500 cash, was Steve Stepro. Coming in second and winning $200 was Susan Senn. Third-place winner and recipient of $100 cash was Josie Sullivan.
In fourth place, Brayden Mitchell received a $75 Visa gift card. A $50 Visa gift card was awarded to fifth-place finisher Jim Nelson, and Don and Missy Smith received a $25 Visa gift card for their duck’s sixth-place finish. In seventh place, Linda Jenkins received canoe passes from Cave Country Canoes. Jimmie Vincent won a sheet set from Ramsey Furniture as an eighth-place reward. Jim Nelson won a sign from Back Roads Market after having a duck finish ninth, and 10th-place finisher Chris Brown received an Olive Garden gift card.
